Giving
The word steward, which means “manager,” is mentioned several times in the Bible. Adventists define a good Christian steward as someone who understands God is the creator and owner of everything. However, God empowers us as managers of the blessings He gives us. He has entrusted us with time and opportunities, abilities and possessions, and the blessings of the earth and its resources.

God has entrusted each of us with certain talents, wealth, time, positions or opportunities. He gives us these things and more so we have chances to be generous, kind, and loving (Galatians 5:22-23). You were not given your blessings in order to enrich yourself, but to serve others (Hebrews 13:6). God is so good to us and promises to be our shelter even during difficult times! Even though His blessings involve far more than a financial income, He only expects us to bring Him tithes and Promises (regular/systematic offerings) after He blesses us first.

Below are some of the ministries in our church that regularly need financial support. Please consider giving to one or more of these ministries when you give online, under Local Offerings.
Adventurers
The Adventurer program was created to assist parents in their important responsibilities as a child’s primary teachers and evangelizers. The program, for children pre-kindergarten to grade 4 (kids ages 4-9), aims to strengthen the parent/child relationship and to further the child’s development in spiritual, physical, mental, and social areas.
Church School - LAA
LAA is a small, multigrade school with a happy family-like atmosphere. Each teacher has from 10-14 students in their classroom at a time, so students get more attention from the teacher. We teach traditional subjects in a way to meet the students at their own level, constantly improving their skill, knowledge and ability, and we have Bible classes using the Bible as our main resource.
Pathfinders
Pathfinders is a worldwide organization for Seventh-Day Adventist young people who are in the fifth (5th) grade or its equivalent through the eighth (8th) grade. Pathfindering is built on an age-specific curriculum of approximately 350 specialized skill development topics covering arts and crafts, aquatics, nature, household arts, recreation, spiritual development, health, and vocational training.
Radio 99.7 FM WXCN
WXCN is a nonprofit organization that is supported by listeners. If you would like to show your appreciation, please visit our donation page to make your online contribution.
Local Public Evangelism
God is calling us to do evangelism so that we can grow deeper and stronger in Him. Simply studying and praying every day without imparting will not bring about the spiritual growth Jesus desires. As we continue imparting, we continue to receive; and the more we impart, the more we shall receive.”
Literature Ministry
We share books, tracts, to thousands of people during game day, concert days, in various neighborhoods and more. A few responded for Bible studies and eventually baptisms. Literature ministry reaches people who may have never set foot in a Seventh-day Adventist Church.
